Athens Arch [ISA Services, Inc.]

The Athens Arch architectural component is used to build consistent,flexible and extensive applications. The package contains JavaInterfaces and classes that provide a robust application framework. TheCommonApplication encapsulates the initialization and message flowcontrol through the uses of the Athens Column's ConfigFacility and AthensAqueduct's LogFacility. The user may post an application's internalstate and processing information through a BulletinBoard where theinformation may be queried internally or externally. Additionally, theuser is able to determine how their application is to perform through theuse of an Execution Strategy. Several abstract and concrete ExecutionStrategies are available for the user to use and extend. With noconfiguration, the CommonApplication uses default settings so that noviceusers may easily and immediately take advantage of the Arch framework.
